Tell us the span of years you want on the table, whether you can come to York Street, and which sitting you think you need. If you are unsure, say so. We reply within three working days.

The paper room is open for sittings Tuesday to Friday. We do not take walk-in chairs; a date has to be held. If you telephone, you may reach a message. Leave the span of years and a number we can return; we do not discuss another person’s identity on a recorded line.
Building entry is from York Street. The lift serves Level 12 on ordinary weekday hours. If you need a quieter arrival time, say so in the note.
What to put in the message
The years you care about, the sitting you think you want (canvas, opening sitting, family, or applied review), and whether anyone else must be in the room. Do not send scans of passports or medical files through this form. Bring papers to the sitting.
Write to the studio
Name, email, and a short account of what you hope to set down are enough. Name a sitting if you already know which one you want. We reply within three working days.
